Badshot Lea Bloomers

Badshot Lea Bloomers. We had our first, ‘first Sat of the month’, working party at the weekend and a big thank you to the seven people who joined me for a busy couple of hours in the heat on Saturday morning. We had a busy time clearing litter from the village and emptying the Tices Meadow bins. Made good progress with cutting back the vegetation along Carpenters path, tidying the area around the seat at the cross roads (thank you farnham in Bloom for the hanging baskets) and made a start on cleaning the benches and other jobs at the pond. Our next gathering will be on Sat, 6th July 10am at the pond. We will give ourselves a rest in August ready for our big volunteer day at the pond on Sat, 7th Sept. when we will have the help and support of our friendly Waverley Ranger Nick Macfarlane.
